Question by Eagle: Can someone give me a television review example?
I have to do a television review for an assignment, the show is a Simpsons episode (”Bart gets an F”) and I am really stuck on it, can someone give me some help or an example. I’m mainly having distress on finding the discourse (Values, attitudes, beliefs) and coming up with introductory statements.
Thanks a lot everyone!

I’m guessing it needs to be more than three paragraphs long, so I will write the one that I did for this play I saw. My teacher said it was excellent. This is not the exact thing but it’s pretty much what you will need. By the way, I am in year 6 and very excellent at writing tales (mostly narratives).
Peter and the Wolf Review
I liked the characters in it and the musical intruments that were the sound for each character. The puppets were smartly made, with woollen hair and for the body, foam covered in stockings. The characters were (these are their actual names), Duck, Wolf, Peter, Grandfather, Cat, Bird and the Hunters. They all had specific instruments played for them and the instruments showed what sort of characteristics they had. Such as, a low french horn for the hunters, because they had guns and frightened away all the animals.
Ben and Joshua (they were the puppeteers) performed it very well. Before they started the puppet show, they introduced us to all the instruments that we would hear. Such as, a flute for Bird or a french horn for the wolf. Ben and Josh were the ones controlling the puppets. They were fully dressed in black, controlling the puppets from behind the stage.
You know, something like that but more paragraphs. The paragraphs in our class need to be these below:
Narrative: At least 5 paragraphs
Recount: At least 5 paragraphs
Backcover Blurb: At least 3 paragraphs
Review: At least 3 paragraphs
Moderated Piece: At least 5 paragraphs
Our teacher is pretty tight (if you know what I mean) but it’s the curriculum for year 6.
Excellent luck with your television review.
I hope I helped.
